  •  Iran is full of small and rarely known villages, all with unique characteristics and differences. All through up north to bottom south, far east to farthest west. Every single of villages have an especial architecture, culture and costume for its own.

During my visits to Iran I have visited many villages in more than 5 different provinces. Gilan, Khorasan, Kurdistam, Qazvin and Bushehr are among them.

Masouleh (in Gilan Province) is a great example of unique rural architecture in Iran. The buildings have been built into the mountain and are interconnected. Courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets. Masouleh does not allow any motor vehicles to enter, due to its unique layout. Habitants of Masouleh are extremely kind and hospitable therefore all of these caused Masouleh to be the most visited village in Iran.

Kang (in Khorasan Provice) is quite similar to Masouleh in architectural-wise even though is almost depopulated during past a few years due to the lack of jobs and good education. Just an a few small family remained in the village which are mostly elderlies.

Villages in Kurdistan province are my favourites not only because of its breathtaking nature and beautiful culture, it is because I believe people of Kurdistan are the most hospitable people of all times!

Bushehr is very warm. It is true both about the weather and its people! You are willing to stay there with them for ever. people are very live and the gulf is truly beautiful.

There are many many more to say, but it is better you see them yourself in the pictures.
